Park Yourself in One of the Arizona National Parks

Arizona National Parks and Monuments

When it comes to natural beauty, you can’t beat our great state. Arizona is home to more than 20 national parks and nearly 30 state parks; each unique and beautiful in its own way. Some have lakes with bright blue water shining thanks to the beaming hot sun; others have grounds surrounded by glorious cacti in every shape, size, and style. You can find canyons and cliffs that provide unbelievable views for you to sit back, relax, and enjoy. You can admire desert scapes that seem to go on for eternity. Imagine relaxing at sunset with nothing but the sounds and smells of Arizona to bask in. Our state parks are filled with excitement and serenity, from beautiful red rocks to fresh, clear water full of fish ready for the taking. Whatever you’re interested in, you’ll find the perfect park here in Arizona.

A Few of our Favorite AZ National Parks and Monuments

Grand Canyon National Park
This is the United States’ 15th oldest national park, and it features none other than the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. In 1903, President Theodore Roosevelt said “the Grand Canyon fills me with awe. It is beyond comparison—beyond description; absolutely unparalleled throughout the wide world.” If you’ve been here before, you need to come back. If you’ve never been, what are you waiting for? Here’s a preview of Grand Canyon Nation Park that will blow you away:

Vermillion Cliffs
This geologic treasure features spectacular cliffs with views that will truly take your breath away. The Wave is one of the most beautiful sights you will ever see. Trust us, you’ve never seen anything like this:

Saguaro National Park
The giant saguaro cacti represent Arizona to the rest of the country and world, so why not embrace them? These unbelievably majestic plants are found in only a small portion of the United States, and here you can see and really take them in, surrounded by the beauty of our sun-drenched desert. To get some visuals of this park’s beauty, enjoy this:
